Hey guys
It was great to see so many people at school yesterday. I am sure everyone coming to school today and tomorrow will be just as excited! I hope you had a chance to catch up on any work and take it a little easy yesterday. It is important that you are trying to keep on top of your work but it is just as important to let me know when things aren't working. Please remember to bring your folder and any borrowed devices to school with you. For those students attending school on days that are not your 'rostered day' (which is ok to do) please remember that you may not be in the classroom with me as we must have reduced numbers within class. You guys have been awesome and I am hoping we will all be back at school soon. In today's meeting I have another round of hard hitting, nail biting questions! 1) Netflix or Stan 2) Beach or Bush 3) sport or video games We will also be playing a Kahoot based on 2019 Music and answering the riddles below. |
Riddle of the Day
- The more there is, the less you see.
- They come at night without being called and are lost in the day without being stolen.

Good Morning
Super excited to have our first rostered day of students today! I hope you guys are as excited as I am! I have been trying really hard to comment and mark peoples work however it is taking much longer than usual at the moment and I apologise If you have turned something in please have a look at the comments when I return your work as I have been trying to make sure I have some specific feedback for you. If you are unsure where to find it, have a chat to me on your day at school. During this mornings meeting I will be asking you: 1) What is something you have done well this week? 2) What is something you would do differently or would re-do if you had the chance? We will also be doing a Kahoot (hopefully on yesterday's BTN Report but that will depend if I get it finished) and answering the puzzle below. Have a great day and I will see you soon! Mrs Dunne |
Puzzle of the day
Tuesday 12th May, 2020
Hello
We handed out the first of the year 6 shirts yesterday and they looked pretty spiffy! I am sure you are all excited to get your hands on some awesome year 6 merch! I was really impressed by most of the gratitude lesson slides I marked yesterday. It was interesting reading everyone's strengths and most of the time they were ones that were not at all surprising to me. During today's meeting I will be asking you a few serious questions. 1) Sweet or Savory? 2) Early Morning or Late Night? 3) Books or Movies? We will also be playing a Kahoot based on subjective and objective language and answering today's riddle. See you soon Mrs Dunne |
Today's Riddle
- What goes around the world and stays in a corner?
- What gets wetter the more it dries?

Good Morning Guys and Girls
I am super excited to see everyone later in the week. Your year 6 shirts will be available to be collected as well. I would love to see more people fill out the completed task checklist. This is what I use to double check people are keeping up with their work. When we get back to school, those students who haven't finished these tasks will need to go back and complete them to make sure they understand the content. In this mornings meeting we will be going through the plan for the day, playing a Kahoot based on Probability, solving the puzzle below and I will be asking you: 1) What was one physical activity you did last week? 2) What are you looking forward to this week? (If you can't think of something you are not trying hard enough) See you soon Mrs Dunne |
