Maths Review Folder - 3D and 2 D Shapes
Yesterday we started our revision folder with 3D shapes. Today we are focusing on the language and features to classify quadrilaterals (4 sided, 2 dimensional shapes). Make sure you are neatly copying down the notes to assist you with the classifying task. An example folder is below.

Challenge Math Task
In your maths book use a pencil, ruler and protractor to draw these shapes.
1. A square
* A baseline 5cm * Label the line AB * Angle of 90 degrees at A, arm 5cm * Repeat at B * Join to make a square * Draw axis of symmetry |
2. A rectangle
* A baseline of 10cm * Label it X Y * Angle of 90 degrees at X, arm 4cm * Repeat at Y * Join to make a rectangle * Draw axis of symmetry |
3. An equilateral Triangle
* Baseline 6cm * Label it JK * Angle of 60 degrees at J * Repeat at K * Allow arms to cross (Intersect) * Draw Axis of Symmetry |
