Friday 3rd of April 2020
Good Morning,
It is an exciting day for me and hopefully you guys are equally excited. It is my birthday eve! I know I won't be able to sleep tonight (I never can before my birthday!) even though everyone in my house reminds me that when you're an adult birthdays aren't really that exciting. I guess that is part of my never really growing up charm! Anyway, this morning we will have a morning meeting as usual. I would like to check in our what work you have done, finding your folder for submitting work and your plan for today. We will also be checking answers for the puzzle and playing a Kahoot! See you soon. Mrs Dunne |

Good Morning!
A big thank you to everyone for submitting heaps of work yesterday. I will be marking it and sending you feedback by tonight. Remember that today is the start of the new learning tasks. Above you will find the grids and they have been posted in Google Classroom along with all the work. If you have any questions please let me know as soon as you can either through Google Classroom or emailing me @ [email protected] For today's meeting please try and have a second device (phone, iPod etc) or have a go at creating a split screen as we will try a Kahoot this morning and test out doing it online. This morning's check in involves some lateral thinking! Try and solve these puzzles (they are words or sayings) but don't tell anyone. We will post answers in the chat pod at the end of the session. |

Good Morning!
Zoom seemed to work a little better than Google Hangouts so we will be using that again today. This morning I will post the link in Google Classrom or find it here. I am still checking of student's work so please keep sending it through. If you are taking photos of your written work, can you please make sure you are taking them from straight above your work so that it is easier for me to read. If you have an iPhone you can use the Notes app and the scanner feature as that can really help. Today is the last day of the set tasks (if you haven't already finished them), I will post the learning for the next week this afternoon. I will also be posting work or prompts on here each day (and the same info in Google Classroom). The reason I have decided to post on here as well is because: 1) I can make it look better than just a list in a stream and 2) so your parents/carers can see what you are/ should be doing as well. |
This Morning's Checkin is a Riddle!
1.3 The Book
A women walked up to a man behind the counter and handed him a book. He looked at it and said, "That will be four dollars." She paid the man and then walked out without the book. He saw her leave without it but did not call her back. How come?

Monday 30th MarchGood Morning!
We will be trialling a new platform for our meeting this morning. We will test out Zoom and see if it is easier for people to log into. I will post the link for the session at 9:45am to join for 10am. Remember that the video session will be recorded so if you would prefer not to be seen (hair is not great or your eyebrows are not on point) turn your camera off. I will be checking in to mark off your completed tasks. If you have not submitted your work (shared through docs or slides, emailed, sent a photo etc) can you please send it through as soon as possible for me to mark. I will post the tasks for the next week on Tuesday. They will start on Wednesday. This mornings check in questions: 1: What was something you did over the weekend that you don't usually do? 2: What feedback do you have to give me regarding my first maths video? 3: How many days until my birthday? |
Here is a screenshot of the checklist from this week's Learning at Home tasks. If you submit the task I will make them off or if you want to keep track as well, you can enter the info in yourself through the assignment I have created in Google Classroom.
